Clear answers about delivery, returns, installation and choosing your Maren configuration.

1. How does shipping work, and when will tracking be available?

For orders delivered within the Netherlands, handling takes 1-3 business days (Monday to Friday) and transit takes 1-9 business days (Monday to Friday). The order cut-off time is 10:00 PM Hong Kong Standard Time (GMT+8). Tracking details are emailed after your parcel has been handed to the carrier.

Track your order: You can use the tracking link in your email or check your order status at Order Tracking or 17TRACK.

2. How do returns, refunds, damaged items and missing parts work?

You have a statutory 14-day return period from the day after you physically receive the product. Contact us before sending anything back and follow our Refund Policy.

A. Change-of-mind returnNotify us before the 14-day period expires and wait for the return instructions.

B. Damaged on arrivalKeep the packaging, take clear photos, and contact us as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 7 days.

C. Missing parts or wrong itemDo not install it. Send your order number and photos of the product, packaging, label and all parts received.

D. Refund processingEligible refunds are processed within 7 business days. It normally takes a further 1-7 business days for the funds to appear in the original payment account, depending on your payment provider.

3. Where can I find the installation manual, and how is Maren installed?

Every parcel includes the product-specific installation manual. Read it before starting work and keep it for future reference.

Maren installation manual

Before installation: isolate the mains, confirm the ceiling outlet and support can carry the fixture, and check the supplied parts against the manual.

  1. Plan the position above the table or island and check the desired cable drop before drilling.
  2. Hold the canopy in position, mark the fixing points, and prepare the ceiling outlet.
  3. Set the black suspension cord to the required drop. Do not cut or conceal excess cable until the final height is confirmed.
  4. Connect the supply through the canopy according to the included wiring diagram. Do not rely on wire colours alone.
  5. Secure the canopy and pendant, then fit one compatible E27 bulb (maximum 7W per pendant; bulb not included).
  6. Restore power and test the switch. If anything is loose, warm, damaged or abnormal, isolate the mains and contact a qualified electrician.

Use and care: switch off and allow the lamp to cool before cleaning. Keep the fitting dry and follow the care guidance in question 8.

4. Are variations and pores in natural travertine normal?

Yes. Travertine is a natural stone, so pores, tonal shifts and small surface variations are expected. They are part of the character of each Maren pendant, not manufacturing defects.

5. Should I choose 1, 2, 3 or 4 pendants?

Choose one for a focused accent, two for a balanced pair, three for a wider rhythm, or four for a longer dining table or island. Use the available surface length and the Size & Placement tab as a visual guide; the recommendation is flexible rather than a fixed rule.

6. What bulb does Maren use, and is a bulb included?

Maren uses an E27 bulb, up to 7W per pendant. Bulbs are not included, so choose a compatible E27 LED bulb in the colour temperature you prefer.

7. Can the 150 cm black suspension cord be shortened?

The pendant is supplied with a 150 cm black suspension cord. Have a qualified electrician set the required drop during installation and confirm the final length before any excess cable is cut or concealed.

8. How should I clean and care for the travertine and wood?

Switch off and let the lamp cool. Dust with a soft, dry cloth. For travertine and wood, avoid abrasive, acidic, oily or soaking cleaners; never saturate the porous stone. Wipe the black cord and metal parts gently and keep all electrical components dry.
